Day 1
Bangkok – Kanchanaburi – Tented Camp
Depart early morning to Kanchanaburi and visit to War Museum, the War Cemetery and the River Kwai Bridge. After arrival at the camp, enjoy a sumptuous lunch on the terrace overlooking the pristine River Kwai. Visit to the Hell Fire Pass Memorial and enjoy a walking tour on the original railway which has not been used since the end of WW II. This is a rare experience to walk from Hell Fire Pass to Hin Tok Station through the forest along historical railway. Late afternoon get on a mountain bike and join a local guide to visit nearby village, famous for bamboo basket weaving. Meet the friendly villagers and we may join them for a basket weaving experience or visit their local farms. Enjoy an unforgettable evening in the camp with a dinner under the stars.
Day 2
Tented Camp – Saiyoke Yai Water Fall /Lawa Cave
After breakfast take an exhilarating long-tailed boat ride upstream to visit Saiyoke Yai Waterfall & National Park. Experience the nature at its best. Afternoon continue a visit to the natural wonder of Lawa Cave – explore the fascinating rock formations inside this least-visited cave. You may wish to experience an optional Thai massage in the camp after a long day. This evening join a Thai Cooking Class followed with sumptuous Thai Dinner.
Day 3
Tented Camp – Train Ride – Kanchanaburi – Bangkok
Early morning optional walking or biking to the temple in the village to make merit by offering food to the monks and receive their blessing. Take a long-tailed boat ride down river to the Jungle Rafts, passing by unspoiled mountainous jungle scenery. On arrival at Jungle Rafts, visit the nearby ethnic Mon Tribal Village and its school. Optional Tour: Elephant riding through bamboo forest. After lunch, continue our journey back in time by taking a historic train ride on the Death Railway along the original wooden viaducts from WW II. Later in the afternoon drive back to Bangkok.
