Day 1
Bangkok Arrival
Transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure
Evening enjoy a delicious Thai Dinner at the hotel
Day 2
City tour
See the most famous Bangkok landmarks, including the golden Buddha at Wat Trai Mit, made of five tons pure solid gold, the great reclining Buddha at Wat Pho and the magnificent Grand Palace & Temple of the Emerald Buddha. The rest of the day at leisure
Day 3
Floating Market & The River Kwai
A long but scenically rewarding day as you visit the colourful and unique Floating Market at Damnoen Saduak. Make a stop and see the traditional coconut sugar making and visit an exquisite Thai crafts & ceramics trading post. Proceed to Kanchanaburi and visit on arrival the war cemetery.
Today’s lunch is included at a good local restaurant. Visit the River Kwai Bridge, the JEATH War Museum and enjoy a long-tailed boat ride on the Kwai Noi River. Another highlight is the train ride on the death railway. Return to Bangkok and arrive at the hotel in the early evening.
Day 4
Ayutthaya World Heritage Site
Leave Bangkok for Ayutthaya and visit the most important and impressive historical monuments, including Wat Pananchoeng, Wihan Phra Mongkhol Bophit, Wat Phra Si Sanphet and the grandeur Wat Chai Wattanaram, all of which are listed as World Heritage by UNESCO. Enjoy your lunch at a good local restaurant. In the afternoon, transfer back to Bangkok.
